Officer Ashley Kane of the Adrian Police Department spoke to us today about the role of law enforcement in small communitites. Officer Kane's journey started on 9/11, as a young child she felt the need to help others. Although her path took her a few other places before realizing law enforcement was where she should land. She believes building relationships with community members is an important part of her job. She also spoke about effective conflict resolution tactics that can be used in everyday life.
