Sue Versteeg wasn't sure what she wanted to do after graduating from high school so she followed a friend to McConnell Travel School in Minneapolis. Through this experience Sue's friend learned the travel profession wasn't for her and Sue loved the business. Sue worked for a few other agencies before beginning Great Planes Travel in Luverne 25 years ago. Since then many agencies are on line but Sue values spending face to face time with her clients. Great Planes Travel has clients in Chicago, Germany, Rapid City, all over the world who value the customer service provided by Sue and her employees. Sue enjoys assisting clients with destination weddings giving them the option for her to work with the wedding coordinator or allowing the bride to take the role. Ireland has been a favorite place for Sue to travel and she is looking forward to an upcoming trip to New Zealand. She believes honesty is very important and spoke to the group about the different safety levels in travel and currently, visa's some countries are requiring to be able to go there.
