With half of the young professionals at a student council retreat we took some time this morning to pick pumpkins at Blackshire Farms. We met Katie from Austin, Texas who is volunteering her time at Blackshire Farms through Willing Workers on Organic Farms. Katie owns her own technology consulting business and enjoys giving her time to learn more about farming. Her only Minnesota experience had been Minneapolis and she is enjoying her visit to the rural area of Minnesota. Thank you for helping us out this morning Katie!
