We had the pleasure of hearing from Dr. Jonathan Aho, general surgeon at Sanford in Luverne and Rock Rapids. Dr. Aho spoke about the role of a general surgeon in a rural setting and the benefits of working in a smaller hospital. He also walked the young professionals through development of his medical device, Pneumeric Capnospot, from concept to manufacturing, patent, sales and marketing, getting and working with investors, and creating a good partnership team. He also encouraged the young professionals to find a career path they are passionate about and to "stay hungry" as you move forward in life. Thank you Dr. Aho for spending the morning with us!
