An active Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role to sustain your businesses as well as promote communities. This morning we had the pleasure of hearing from three community Chamber leaders holding different positions. Kenzi Klein is the Chamber Director in Luverne which is a paid position, Kyle DeBoer is a business owner who volunteers his time as the Chamber vice-president in Edgerton, and Jessica Martens is a business owner from Hills who is just starting a Chamber in that town. The panel spoke about organizing community events, the process of becoming a Chamber member and the perks that come with membership, holding educational opportunities for business owners on current topics such as AI and the family leave act, belonging to professional organizations, connecting new people to the town, and networking. Thank you for spending your morning with the SWMN CEO young professionals and helping them understand the importance of being an active and involved community member.
