This morning on our Fearless Founders Zoom, we heard from brothers Brock and Mitch, founders of Frost Buddy, a drinkware company they launched from their small hometown of Newton, Illinois. At the time, Brock was a senior in college and Mitch was working for State Farm when they decided to start the business in March 2020.

They sold their very first cup in May 2020 — and reached $1 million in sales within just seven months.

The brothers shared several powerful lessons:

Building a business in a small town does NOT limit your success.

You will only go as far as your biggest believer.

Be intentional about how you position yourself against competitors.

Move beyond surface-level networking and focus on building meaningful, value-driven relationships.

You can learn more at their website (frostbuddy.com) or follow them on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

And yes — I bought my first Frost Buddy! 🙌
