Henning Construction has been a staple in Adrian for 54 years. Cousins Ryan and Brent Henning worked for their dads during high school. Following high school, Ryan continued to work for the company while Brent decided to make a career move to Oregon. In 1994, Perry Hoven started to work for Henning Construction. In 2008, Brent moved back to Adrian and joined the company and today all three men are owners. Ryan spoke to the group about bonding insurance and how it works in the strategy of bidding projects. They group also spoke about buying a business from a family member, building your reputation, and having a competitive edge. Henning Construction offers a wide range of services including excavation, site development, grading, demolition, underground utilities, hauling materials, as well as providing a variety aggregate materials.
