When the opportunity arose to purchase an established car dealership in his hometown, Scott Dahl approached his brother, Mark, about going into business together. In 2019, the brothers purchased the dealership and established Dahl Motors, a GM/Chevrolet dealership.
With 32 years of experience working in GMAC finance, Scott was able to make a smooth transition into business ownership. During the visit, Scott and his son, Connor, shared valuable insight with the SWMN CEO young professionals about business finances, the decision to move closer to family, franchise requirements, sales strategies, manufacturer warranties, and the importance of credit scores.
The group also enjoyed a tour of the dealership and had the opportunity to ask plenty of great questions. Devin Schaap was the lucky young professional who got to sit inside a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and rev the engine!
